Day 72
Hello to all of you who continue to follow this journey,
The Marlo Thomas letter mailed last week to St. Jude donors has had an amazing impact in its first week. In just seven days since it was received, over $180,000 has been raised!With only a few weeks to make Catie’s Legacy Wish a reality, we are very pleased with its early success. Tonight, the St. Jude website (www.stjude.org) has Catie and her Legacy wish on the front page along with a touching video. There are additional links to pages that tell more of Catie’s story as well as ways to donate to St. Jude. St. Jude is an amazing research and treatment facility, and as the best hospital for children’s catastrophic illnesses, we want to continue to spread the word. Catie’s desire to support St. Jude, its medical professionals, researchers, and support staff is within reach, and we are thrilled.
The number 72 is a very important one in the Bible, and as we live through Day 72 since Catie began her eternal life, we wanted to share its meaning to us. After Jesus had selected His closest 12 followers, He chose an additional 72 that he commissioned to preceed Him to all villages and towns and spread the Good News. We look to you to spread the good news of St. Jude and the work they continue to do to care for critically ill children. So please send this email to all you know so that together we can storm heaven with prayers for the success of the Catie Legacy Campaign.
