Allen Sanford, the father of one of Catie’s classmates decided to run in the marathon for Catie’s Wish.
“I must say that there are many times during long runs that I wanted to give up and had I not been running for Catie’s Wish I probably would have. Catie has given me inspiration and has kept me motivated when the running got tough. I have put in over 500 miles running preparing for this and Catie will be on my mind throughout the race because I know that she never gave up.”
