HAPPY FRIDAY CATIE! Oh, I just love reading all of the messages from your friends! They really make me smile. Our parish of St. Thomas More is having their Christmas bizarre tomorrow - over 10,000 items! I'm going to go in the morning to help my friend Julie - people are usually waiting outside the doors at 7AM - but it doesn't start until 9! Other than that it will be a quiet weekend I think....with a bit of cheering in between for the Penn State game! I hope you have a good weekend. love, sylvia

I would like to ask all of Catie's prayer warriors to pray for our young friend, Luke Ronco. I have the link to his site below. Thank you so much. www.caringbridge.org/pa/lukeronco Catie, I hope you're having a good day today. Everyone around here is pretty grumphy because Penn State lost the football game. My response is "it's only a football game!". : ) love, sylvia

Dear Catie, We are all praying for you and your family during this difficult time. We are amazed by your courage and your faith. Please know that we are lighting candles for you at church, and keeping you in our thoughts and prayers each day. We have your picture on our refrigerator, and our girls say "pray for Catie...God Bless Catie". You are so brave and an inspiration to all, Jennifer, Chris, Rose, and Kate Peters

You don't know me but my son went through SJMB03 in 2003/2004. He passed the 5-year post diagnosis milestone in September. I saw your post about stem cells and I just wanted to tell you how terribly sick my son was the first cycle where they used marrow. He vomited and peed blood for several days after and I was so terrified, I thought he was dying. But he was OK. There was no comparison with subsequent cycles and I'm convinced the bone marrow (along with the fact that it takes 3 times the volume of marrow as it does with stem cells) was the culprit. I pray that this cycle is easier on Catie as it was for my son, and I pray that the treatment is successful.

Catie, Last week Bella, Gemma, and I brought dinner to your family. On the way home the girls said we had to email you to tell you that your sisters are so cute. (Sorry it took so long for me to do this). Your sisters hopped into our van because we were watching Stuart Little. Of course we have to put a movie in to drive down the street. Anyway, your sisters didn't want to get out of the van. My girls thought it would be fun to serve dinner in the van next time. A movie night in the van????!!!! What do your parents think of that??? Catie, you and your family hang in there. So many people care about you. We sure do, and we never even met you face to face. God Bless You. Pykosh Family

Dear Catie, I hope this Thursday morning finds you "home" in Target house feeling well. Have you listened to the CD my mom sent you? Do you like the Can't Stop the Beat song? My students love it - and when I hear it I think of you! No one can stop your beat or happiness! :p Relax and rest so you are ready for a great Thanksgiving with your whole family! (how very exciting!). We all are thankful to know you! :grin
