Catie, I am a 12 year old living in Basking Ridge NJ. I go to St. James School and I just wanted to tell you how much of a role model you are to me! Thanks to you I think that I have been praying more than 6 times a day for you and your family! I want to thank you for being so strong during this whole journey! I know you don't know me but I think you have made many of us children stronger in Faith! You have shown my friends and I that we should be thankful for every day that we have! I would also like to let you know that my school and I have been praying for you each and everyday of the week since Dec.! You have also inspired many of my peers! We have started a jar in one of my classes that will be donated to the Catie fund by the end of the year! During your trip to Lourdes 2 of my friends and I held a prayer service for your safety and cleansing! Now almost every day at least one person will come up to me and ask how you've been doing! Thanks to this I have been trying to read your wed site everyday so I can give the update! The last thing I want to let you know is that you are definitely one of the bravest people I have ever met! The one thing I ask of you is to stay strong and to hold on to your relationship with God! This is one thing that will always get you through the day! Also thank you for your beautiful Faith in God. dear Catie, When I was in Washington, D.C. this past Thursday for the March for Life, I lit a candle for you at the National Shrine. I have been following Catie's story for months now, all while she was in St Jude, since she's been home, her trip to Lourdes and these final days. I do not know you or your family, but the journal of your precious Cassie's journey with cancer has touched my heart. I am sorry for the loss of your daughter and as I type this note. tears are filling my eyes. How unfair it is for this dreaded disease to take our precious children,but how wonderful to know that they are healed and in the arms of our loving Heavenly Father. Praying for you & your family.
